To all Gold Crown Basketball Coaches, Players, Parents and Fans participating in basketball at the Gold Crown Field House: |
We are very excited to welcome you to the Gold Crown Field House. It is a joy to have the facility full of young athletes. One of the ongoing issues we have is respecting the property of the residents surrounding the Field House. We would greatly appreciate your team's continued cooperation throughout the season and beyond. Please share our respect for our neighbors and do not litter in any of the areas surrounding the Field House. The people in the surrounding neighborhood were instrumental and supportive in the development of the facility that we have the privilege of operating and your teams have the privilege of using. We must continually prove to our neighbors that our programs and participants are worthy of their support.
Although the current signage is not adequate, parking on the west side of S. Harlan Street adjacent to the Gold Crown Field House is prohibited. Overflow parking for the Field House is available in the lot just to the south of the Field House at Coca-Cola All Star Park. Also, ample parking is available in Martischang Plaza, which is just to the south of Alameda Ave. and a very short walk from the Field House. Parking in the residential streets surrounding the Field House is not only illegal and can lead to cars being towed, but it also causes our neighbors great inconvenience when their streets, driveways, bike paths, mailboxes and other properties are blocked. Please pass this message along to all of your team parents who may be driving to the Gold Crown Field House. In addition, we encourage all teams to carpool to the Field House as much as possible.
