Usted me llama \"Ref\" o \"Rayas\", que est\u00e1 bien. Tengo el privilegio de tener la oportunidad de ser un oficial para el juego de su hijo o hija.<\/p>\n<p>Quer\u00eda dedicar un minuto a explicar mejor el trabajo que realizo y, con un poco de suerte, romper algunos mitos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>En primer lugar, lo hago porque me gusta el baloncesto.<\/strong> Puede que haya un pu\u00f1ado de nosotros que se limite a presentarse, cobrar las tasas del juego e irse a casa. Pero yo dir\u00eda que 98% de nosotros disfrutamos con el juego y queremos hacer algo positivo por los j\u00f3venes. Esa es la raz\u00f3n por la que lo hago. Recuerdo que empec\u00e9 como \u00e1rbitro en Chicago a los 16 a\u00f1os. Me manten\u00eda alejado de las calles y de los problemas, y se convirti\u00f3 en una forma de devolver algo a la comunidad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No me importa qui\u00e9n gane el partido -<\/strong> No importa qui\u00e9n gane o qui\u00e9n pierda el partido que juegue su hijo. Yo estoy ah\u00ed para hacer cumplir las reglas y hacer respetar el buen esp\u00edritu deportivo. Quiero que su hijo se divierta y aprenda no s\u00f3lo sobre el juego, sino tambi\u00e9n sobre la vida. Una parte muy b\u00e1sica de la vida es que a veces, a pesar de tu mejor esfuerzo, no sales vencedor. S\u00e9 que quieres que tu hijo o hija gane todos los partidos que juegue, y eso est\u00e1 bien. Yo soy padre y tambi\u00e9n quiero que mi hija gane en todo lo que haga. Sin embargo, ella, como tu hijo, necesita saber lo que es no conseguir la victoria, y c\u00f3mo manejarlo. Es s\u00f3lo un juego, pero puede ense\u00f1ar lecciones valiosas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 no llamas a \"X\"?<\/strong> - Porque probablemente no lo vi, o lo vi de forma diferente a ti. Lo que se espera de los \u00e1rbitros en el deporte es que empecemos siendo perfectos y mejoremos a medida que avanzamos. La realidad es que somos humanos y cometemos errores. Los partidos por el t\u00edtulo de la AFC y la NFC de la NFL del pasado domingo son un buen ejemplo de ello. No me gusta cometer errores y, en algunas raras ocasiones, puede que tengas un mejor \u00e1ngulo de una jugada desde tu asiento en la grada que el que yo tengo en la cancha. Pero, desde luego, no voy a no pitar una jugada deliberadamente porque la tenga tomada con su hijo o con su equipo. Recuerda, no me importa qui\u00e9n gane.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a1Est\u00e1s tan ocupado preocup\u00e1ndote por nosotros o por los entrenadores que no pitas el partido!<\/strong> - En algunos casos, por desgracia, es cierto. No puedo aceptar una conducta pobre y antideportiva de nadie, entrenadores, jugadores o aficionados\/padres. Soy humano, no un robot. Pi\u00e9nselo de esta manera. \u00bfQu\u00e9 te parecer\u00eda que un cliente o jefe\/compa\u00f1ero de trabajo enfadado se pusiera encima de tu mesa, o a pocos metros de ti en tu trabajo u oficina reprendi\u00e9ndote, a veces al m\u00e1ximo volumen, por cada decisi\u00f3n que tomas porque en su opini\u00f3n fue err\u00f3nea? Bueno, la cancha de baloncesto es mi oficina. Recu\u00e9rdalo la pr\u00f3xima vez que quieras gritar por una llamada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C\u00f3mo puede ayudar - Anime a su hijo<\/strong>. An\u00edmales. Si tienes alguna duda sobre las reglas del juego, pregunta. No hay necesidad de gritar sobre lo horrible que sientes que soy por una llamada o no llamada que no fue a favor de tu equipo o de tu hijo. Es baloncesto juvenil, no las finales de la NCAA o de la NBA. Estudia las reglas. Hay muchos recursos en Internet para ello. Por ejemplo, \u00bfsab\u00edas que tu hijo puede correr o tirarse al suelo a por un bal\u00f3n suelto, y si el impulso de la carrera o la zambullida le hace resbalar, no importa lo lejos que est\u00e9, NO es desplazamiento? \u00bfO que si un jugador regatea el bal\u00f3n por encima de la altura del hombro, siempre y cuando mantenga la mano encima o al lado del bal\u00f3n, NO se trata de una infracci\u00f3n de regate ilegal?<\/p>\n<p>Quiero disfrutar ayudando a su hijo a divertirse y aprender el juego del baloncesto.
