Mental Health First Aid

When you attend Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), you’ll learn how to identify the signs and symptoms of a range of mental health and substance use disorders, and will build the skills and confidence to help someone in crisis. This interactive 8-hour course includes a two-hour self-paced course, and a six-hour live, virtual session led by certified Mental Health First Aid instructors.  We offer this course for free to community members, but it is not free to provide. We ask for a $15 deposit due at sign up, that is refunded upon completion of the course. If you have any difficulty with this, please contact us.

Upcoming MHFA Courses

Virtual Youth MHFA – October 7th from 9a-4p

Virtual MHFA – October 11th from 9a-4p

Virtual MHFA – November 16th from 9a-4p

QPR - Question, Persuade, Refer

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — 3 simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis, how to offer hope, and how to save a life.

 Upcoming QPR Trainings:

Virtual QPR – October 18th from 9a-10:30a

Virtual QPR – November 17th from 3:30p
