Spring Hoops Classic

The Spring Hoops Classic is an annual regional club basketball tournament. We focus all of our efforts on one tournament during the Club basketball season in order to provide a quality and competitive event vs. multiple events each weekend. This is an excellent opportunity to play competitive games locally, without travel expenses.

Tournament Info:

  • Open to 12u-17u boys and girls teams (one division per age)
    -12U Eligibility: Born on or after Sept. 1, 2011 and/or is currently in sixth grade or below
    -13U Eligibility: Born on or after Sept. 1, 2010 and/or is currently in seventh grade or below
    -14U Eligibility: Born on or after Sept. 1, 2009 and/or is currently in eighth grade or below
    -15U Eligibility: Born on or after Sept. 1, 2008 and/or is currently in ninth grade or below
    -16U Eligibility: Born on or after Sept. 1, 2007 and/or is currently in tenth grade or below
    -17U Eligibility: Born on or after Sept. 1, 2006 and/or is currently in eleventh grade or below
    *Current Seniors are ineligible for the tournament
  • Players are allowed to play on multiple teams as long as the teams are not in the same DIVISION
    • Note: Schedule requests will not be accepted for players who play on multiple teams
  • Games played at the Gold Crown Field House, Alameda HS, Englewood HS, Lakewood HS and Wheat Ridge HS
  • $10 daily admission (17 and under free) benefiting the Gold Crown Scholarship Fund

Tournament Features

  • Each team plays FOUR games; pool play and bracket play format: 8-minute stopped clock quarters
  • Paid scorekeepers for all games
  • Recruitable event for NCAA Division II, III, NAIA and Junior College Coaches
  • Programs who register four or more teams receive free USA Basketball Coach License(s)
  • Individual awards for 1st place teams in each division
  • Elevate Basketball Officiating Camp will assign three high school officials for select games played at the Field House.  Gold Crown Officiating will assign two officials for all other games
