Programs

The Gold Crown Enrichment Program offers a variety of programs throughout the year. Depending on the community's needs, our staff implements new events to best serve youth. We also work with schools in the Jefferson County and Edgewater School Districts to introduce students to new technologies. At our Summer Camps, we focus on the social and emotional development of teens in addition to exploring creative interests.  Be sure to check back each season to see what new opportunities are available.

Upcycling

Do you have a passion for fashion? Do you have what it takes to design, learn to sew, and strut your stuff on the runway? In Re-Work It, we will look at fabric and materials through the lens of creative reuse to take old, out-of-style garments and transform them into iconic fashion pieces. Think - what about that old white t-shirt you never wear? Dye it! What about that dusty denim jacket? Embellish it with jewels and patches! We will explore all sorts of fashion design techniques from embroidery, sewing, accessory making, screen printing, and so much more. We can’t wait to see what you create, and share what you wear.
