Programs

The Gold Crown Enrichment Program offers a variety of programs throughout the year. Depending on the community's needs, our staff implements new events to best serve youth. We also work with schools in the Jefferson County and Edgewater School Districts to introduce students to new technologies. At our Summer Camps, we focus on the social and emotional development of teens in addition to exploring creative interests.  Be sure to check back each season to see what new opportunities are available.

Printmaking: Transferring Images from Mind to Matter

What do Rembrandt, Picasso, and Warhol all have in common? Well, art, of course - but they were also famed for using one of the art world’s oldest techniques: printmaking! Campers will explore methods and materials to create five original works of art all while learning about the fascinating developments in art history that made printmaking techniques what they are today. Campers will learn hands-on what it is like to be a professional print artist by creating their own screen prints, laser-etched printing blocks, stamps, monoprints, and much more!
