Gold Crown Enrichment offers a variety of programs throughout the year. Depending on the community's needs, our staff implements new events to best serve youth. We also work with schools in Jeffco Public Schools to introduce students to new technologies. At our Summer Camps, we focus on the social and emotional development of teens in addition to exploring creative interests. Digital Music Makers: SOLD OUT
Music production from the ground up!
Join us for a week of beat production, song crafting, and musical discovery! Participants will engage and connect with cutting edge music software tools and hardware, learning everything you need to create a song. Utilizing modern production techniques and web-based studio software, such as Soundtrap, campers will be crafting the next hit song. This camp is for anyone looking to create their own music from start to finish and share it with the world.

LEGObotics
Build a Bot with Legos
Robots are everywhere. They are in factories welding parts together, in warehouses managing inventory, in homes cleaning floors, and in space roving on Mars. Come participate in our week-long LEGO robotics camp to experience designing, building and programming a robot. You will learn how to build a robot using Legos and program it using the Mindstorms programming platform to complete an intricate challenge. This introductory camp is appropriate for participants who are curious to find out what it takes to be a robotic scientist and have fun along the way! If you love what you learn, become a Clubhouse member and join us for our Robotics Clubs in the fall.

Developing Your Fantasy Journey
Bring characters and worlds to life with GIF animation techniques
Do you enjoy watching anime, playing video games, or Dungeons & Dragons? Have you ever wondered how such fantastical worlds and characters are made and brought to life? In this camp, we will explore world-building and character development as you create your unique world and the character that inhabits it. We will dive into Adobe After Effects and Photoshop to bring these characters and the world to life. We hope you can learn with us to develop unique characters that truly speak to you and create vast open worlds that would make James Camron cry tears of joy.

Create With Purpose
Use everyday technology to capture inspiration and create physical mementos
Your teen’s phone is always with them. Let them discover how to use it for good! With mobile photo editing apps, collage, writing, and simple bookmaking techniques, learn how to create a memento to remember your unique experiences! This camp will involve three field trips to take photos, sketch impressions, and journal your ideas. Additionally, you will participate in workshops where we will bind our scrapbooks using art and technology. Learn Photoshop Express and other free mobile apps to design and print your memories, then embellish your creation with hands-on D.I.Y. /mixed media techniques. We hope you will join us to explore, reimagine, and reflect on your summer before it ends.

SPRING BREAK CAMP: SOLD OUT
Space Exploration and Astronomy in Minecraft
Come explore imaginative worlds and astronomy scenarios in Minecraft Java Edition! Learners investigate space exploration “what if?” questions, such as “What if the earth were a moon?” or “What does the surface of an exoplanet look like?” Participants will play the role of scientists and engineers as they take part in creative and critical thinking design prompts, like drawing exoplanets or exhibits in the planetarium. As a final project they work in small teams to build and present a Minecraft mars base! This camp is brought to you by Project WHIMC and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
