Since opening our doors in 2003, over 6,000 youth have passed through them, drawn to a safe and supportive environment that allows them to express themselves creatively. The goal of our Enrichment Program is to provide a creative, accepting environment that encourages our members to imagine creatively, reason systematically and work collaboratively in order to learn continuously! As life-long learners, our staff not only facilitates this approach, they apply these principles daily as they model curiosity, flexibility and perseverance.

This approach establishes the culture of our Clubhouse and Daytime program. Our enrichment space is at once an artist studio, inventor’s workshop, design house, hackerspace, music studio, and computer game development lab. With the encouraging support of staff members and volunteer mentors, youth unleash their talents, engage in peer-to-peer learning, and develop a unique voice of their own. In the process they become inspired about learning and about their own futures.

Come explore, create and discover new interests at our after-school Clubhouse. There are two locations to choose from.

A program for youth to focus on a specific area of technology, develop their workforce readiness skills and gain work experience.

Uplift the online learning experience, connect youth to their peers, and embrace physical activity while schools remain closed.

Gold Crown Enrichment is proud to be a member of The Clubhouse Network: Where Technology Meets Imagination, and to host two Gold Crown Clubhouse after school programs; Best Buy Teen Tech Center @ Gold Crown Field House and the Gold Crown Clubhouse @ Edgewater. The Clubhouse mission is to provide a creative and safe out-of-school learning environment where young people from under-served communities work with adult mentors to explore their own ideas, develop new skills, and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology.

The Clubhouse Network is an international community of more than 100 Clubhouses located in 19 countries, providing youth with life-changing opportunities for 25 years. Each Clubhouse provides a creative, safe, and free out-of-school learning environment where young people from underserved communities work with adult mentors to explore their own ideas, develop new skills, and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology. Learn more about The Clubhouse Network.
