Congratulations to our robotics team - the Cyborg Rubber Ducks - for earning a 2nd Place Alliance Award at this year's State First Tech Challenge robotics competition! Our team competed against some of Colorado's most high-profile STEM schools and came out on top. Their skill and their gracious professionalism earned them a 2nd Place Alliance Award and we are so proud.
How did they get here?
These six members are part of the Gold Crown Clubhouse Robotics Club. They meet weekly on Wednesdays and learned all about robotics from our dedicated mentor, Peter. The team spent their weekly meetings designing, building and coding their competition robot, and testing out its skills. Initially, they competed against 21 teams regionally to qualify for the State Competition. Please join us in congratulating these young engineers for their outstanding work on this year's bot and our first ever State placement.
