October Rules Coach Spotlight: Meet Monica!

Does it feel like fall yet? Believe it or not, winter is right around the corner which means it’s almost basketball season!

This season we are featuring a Rules Coach every month so you can get to know some of them a little better. When we think of a Rules Coach we typically just think about the person blowing the whistle during games, but Gold Crown Rules Coaches are a part of the Gold Crown family.

If you see any of the highlighted Rules Coaches throughout the season don’t be afraid to introduce yourself. They are all out there on the court for the same reason you are: the kids.

Our October Rules Coach Spotlight features someone you’ve most likely seen around the Gold Crown Field House if you’ve participated in any of our basketball programs. Monica Jones is a staple at Gold Crown basketball games. Know how you can pick her apart from other people in the Field House? She’s always smiling and her laugh is one-of-a-kind. She’s personable and is one of the best Rules Coaches we have the privilege of working with each season. You’re almost guaranteed to see her working championship games during our leagues because of her knowledge, hard work and passion for the game. Get to know her below and don’t hold it against her that she’s a Warriors fan!
